20 years old, a rising Senior at Kalamazoo College studying English/Creative Writing, and passionate about social justice, I’m trying to figure out where I want to fit into the world (like anybody else who’s ever been my age). I’m addicted to the internet, create stained glass, write stories and poems, and don’t sleep anywhere near how much I should. You’re more likely to find me awake at 4am because I haven’t gone to bed yet than because I decided to wake up early, and I’m more likely to wait until you say hello than approach you myself. But I am a professional people-watcher. Probably comes from being a goalkeeper for all those years; I’m so used to watching the game, predicting players’ movements, reading the play. You’re a pretty fascinating specimen yourself, reader -- you must be if you want to know about the Wildcards. You’ve probably got a pretty cool story to tell. You’re probably a good storyteller. Tell me a story. I want to hear it. I want to hear who you are, what you’ve seen; I want to know the world. I applied to this project because I had no idea about what it was, and I was curious. Still am. I don’t always know what to do with the information I get, or even how to process it properly, but I’m always hungry for it. So start telling me a story already. What are you waiting for?
